I'm starting.

Tonight I started actually typing my autobiography.  Right now I'm doing my childhood and the narrative is a bit fragmented, not to mention not in chronological order.  I plan on poking at it again tomorrow evening.

Don't expect anything world changing.

And now...  my favorite stanza from No Line on the Horizon by U2.  The song is called Stand Up Comedy.

Stand up, this is comedy
The DNA lottery may have left you smart
But can you stand up to beauty, dictator of the heart
I can stand up for hope, faith, love
But while I'm getting over certainty
Stop helping God across the road like a little old lady

Digital Fast

Ok, maybe... sorta...  Lent starts today and I'm going to give up my Xbox 360, at least on weekdays.  I am planning on going cold turkey from sweets though.  Let's see how this goes. :)

I'm hoping that I'll spend more time on profitable things, like blogging maybe.  I'm starting a discernment process on whether or not I want to study toward becoming a deacon in the Episcopal tradition.  One thing I've been asked to do in preparation is a "spiritual autobiography" detailing all the major events in my spiritual development.  A friend of mine (everyone wave at Jonathan) suggest I blog it, thus killing two birds with one stone.  I think that might be a decent idea.  So... hopefully there will be several more posts in the near future.
